Life Crush will be a resource for those who want to live a better life. This blog will focus on your health on every level. This will include improving on the eight strengths that every healthy life is built on: Financial, Physical, Family, Social, Intellectual, Career, and Spiritual. I am traveling on this journey with you and as I discover truths I will share what I learn along the way.
I’m using the acronym C.R.U.S.H. because I want you to have a crush on your life. Try to remember the intensity of your first crush. This is exactly how I want you to feel about YOU. You deserve to love yourself intensely. As the old saying goes, “If you can’t love yourself, how can you expect anyone else to?”
Compassion– Discover ways to increase compassion in your life. As the Dalai Lama so wisely said, “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” This world would be a better place if everyone practiced this discipline at least once a day. All forms of kindness, whether it is in the form of gifts of money, a heartfelt complement or silent blessings are all ways of practicing compassion. Compassion is key to having a long, healthy, and happy life.
Revive– Revive your life with joy. This can be accomplished in many different ways; by reducing stress, practicing spirituality, exercise or spending time with your family. Look at your life and find ways to bring joy to your everyday.
Uncover– Uncover the life of your dreams. Meditation can help this immensely. Sitting quietly will let your mind lead you to your true calling. Stay open minded and don’t dismiss any dream as impossible. Reading can also help you unveil your destiny. There are many inspirational people who have gone out and lived a fulfilling life. Reading their stories can help you discover how to take the first steps to the life you are meant to lead.
Simplify– Simplify as many aspects of your life you can. This will help you find time to dream, create and develop. Time is one of the most valuable resources we have so this is a very important step in creating a life you love.
Health– Make healthy choices every day. Without your health it is very difficult to find happiness. In any decision, look for the healthy option. The more you do this the more you will prove your love for yourself, which is essential to happiness. You are worth it!
